Such a cute Christmas picture for 2009

Jordyn is checking out the 'Tea Please' set that we got her for Christmas, it is so cool, it talks to her and reminds her to say please & thank you ;)

We had so much fun playing with all of Jordyn's new toys and visiting! Feeding her new baby doll with her great-grandma

This is a great look for Jeff, right?! ;)
Like father, like daughter... she is daddy's little girl
The bag on her little head didn't last long, she was ready to rock her new backpack- or bacba as she is calliing it!

Jordyn's PaPa is a pretty funny guy- she has such a precious smile!

Rockin' the awesome backpack

THANKSGIVING~ 2009

So, of all the things I haven't posted about in forever, it's time to post about Turkey day! The first holiday Jon and I have spent together in 5 holiday seasons!

This year we braved the crowds in downtown Dallas for the 42nd Turkey Trot :) The crowds really weren't that bad driving in & driving out, or maybe we just got lucky!Jon and I checking out the ever-growing crowd!

About to head up to the starting line --- because we were chipped we were in the 6:30m pace group- we are not 6:30m pacers, but really once the gun went off it took 5 minutes to hit the starting line and then probably another 5 to actually be able to jog/run instead of walk/jog to get through all the people. It was AWESOME!

DONE!! I obviously need a little practice putting on my bib straight. We finsihed, Frankie was such a great support throughout the run! He stayed with me and we crossed the finish line 1 second apart! 32:37!! We had a 10min mile 1, 9min mile 2, and 11 min mile 3 -- not bad for my first timed 5k-- I CAN'T WAIT TO DO ANOTHER ONE!
Jon was waiting at the finish line for us- taking pictures!

Most of the fam- C&J were in New York city for Turkey day! Nick was in Houston, all very missed, but we know they were having a great time.

Thanksgiving day was so much fun, and of course so yummy!! What a fabulous holiday with fabulous family.
