Sometimes you just need a good Saturday, a great sermon and wonderful friends to turn a frown upside down.
It's been a month of wading through and figuring out the new normal. It's been tough. But the blessings of family and friends have been brought to the forefront of our lives. It's truly amazing the way our friends have lifted up our family and us especially.
The sermon Saturday was about not just being Christian, but living it starting with the cornerstone, which is to share Jesus with those who have not come to Christ. The best piece of the message was 'you talk about what you care about' why aren't we taking about Christ? How many times have you talked to someone about Jesus in the last 7 days? How many times have you talked to a non-believer about Him in the last 7 days? I fail.
So, I'm trying- working to see if I can make this happen in the coming 7 days.
I watch the ministry and word of God work in so many other ways , it is my duty to spread the word, too.

Life is so very unpredictable
See your loved ones, Call your family if you can't see them right now. Hug your spouse. Don't wait. Life is too short and no one is guaranteed tomorrow. Live life. Don't take people or opportunities for granted.
The silver lining in this loss was seeing our sweet nieces and Jeff and Amber.
