January is almost over?!

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE? I can't believe the first month of 2011 is wrapping up... I feel like we just had the holidays. Not to mention this whole wedding thing is making time fly a lot faster than I expected....

Now that actual wedding planning has begun, not going to lie, it's nice to check things off the list! It is all a little overwhelming.....


What else is going on in our little piece of the world?

Jon is back to class, he is really enjoying this semester he is finally into his programming classes and LOVING IT! Also, big plus for both of us he received office at a great discount, YAY!!! We both have it now... it's about time. So we have school and work, trying to plan our wedding, spending some time with friends and family (when we aren't sick) and enjoying eachother.


Mr. Big is doing great, happy that it is finally warming up outside so he is back to squirrell hunting in the afternoons and laying in the sunshine.

I have been sick for two weeks- YUCK! I think Jon finally caught it a few days ago, boo! So we are trying to get well. The weather has been crazy, we had snow last week and today the high is in the 70's, next week? Snow again. No wonder we keep getting sick.


This post is kind of random, avoiding the laundry I need to do and getting moving for the day. I guess I should just get it done.

New Years, 2011

Finally getting some wedding planning ACTION! We bought my dress!!!!!!!!!!!! *Wish I could show you a picture, but alas Jon has the blog address and I don't want to ruin the surprise!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ~ THE dress is PERFECT, beautiful, GORGEOUS, I am just a bit excited! :)

I think we have found a venue- just need to get it nailed down and booked.


I am looking at bridesmaids dresses, REALLY need to get those nailed down.... hmmmm suggestions- send them my way!

We are looking at honeymoon options- so exciting- so needs to get booked- all of this is approaching so much more quickly than I anticipated!!

Looking into photographers- lost the one I really wanted- oh well, not meant to be. I have found one that seems like a great fit, but I need to get on the phone with him and lay out a plan!

Flowers!? - Bouncing some ideas around for bouquets, centerpieces, church and reception decor....

We are looking at wedding bands -- eek! yay!!

Working on Save the Dates, invitations, programs, GAH!

It IS ALL SO EXCITING! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

We are GETTING MARRIED, Jon is becoming my husband, and I his wife.

I am over the moon!!

February ~ it was Superbowl Sunday and we were spending the day with great people, eating great food... (mostly boys so no fun pictures!)

I can't believe we are 12 almost 13 days into the New Year and I haven't blogged since OCTOBER! 2010 was my least posts yet... drats~!

I have a lot to catch up on - but as usual that would take forever, so I will try one piece at a time. Anyone check out the counter at the bottom of this blog? Our wedding is A LOT CLOSER than I THOUGHT- I need to get shakin'!!!

This year is bringing an amazing blessing, I am marrying my best friend. A new beginning, a new chapter, and the most passionate vow I have ever made. *quite possibly the only vow I can remember*

I want to do my best to be sincere in my actions, my words, myself.

Being devoted; not just within my marriage, but first to God, with my family and friends and in my goals.

Hap-PEEP Halloween

MDA has Ghoulish & Casual day the Friday before Halloween, every year (for the last 2 years). This year I wasn't going to spend a whole lot of $ on a costume, Jon and I don't have a ton of parties to go to or anything and no boo bash to dress up for a justify the expense twice. So, I present you with my $5 costume.... *which I am VERY PROUD OF*

I was not JUST a bunny, I was a PEEP! :) Had so much fun Friday as a Peep, and truly enjoyed Ghoulish & Casual Day at the office!
